Upon graduation he received Odense Symphony Orchestra Memorial Award.
Further studies at the Julliard School of Music in New York with a.o. Dorothy DeLay and Itzak Perlman.
Made his New York debut in spring 2001 with a recital at Carnegie Hall.
Rúni is currently working with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in Kuala Lumpur.
